Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our growing team. This role bridges client-facing support with data-driven insights, helping internal teams and our clients understand key trends and performance metrics while ensuring clients receive exceptional service.

The ideal candidate combines strong communication skills with the ability to analyze data, create compelling presentations, and support internal operations within a fast-paced, technology-driven legal services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze client and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Develop, maintain, and present recurring and ad hoc client reports using Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Prepare client-facing presentations that clearly communicate key insights and recommendations.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Product, and Data) to ensure data accuracy and alignment on client deliverables.

  • Serve as a first point of contact for client support inquiries, ensuring timely and professional communication.

  • Support the VP of Operations in strategic projects, reporting, and performance tracking.

  • Document and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 1–2 years of professional experience preferred; internships or relevant coursework in analytics or client support are also valued.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data visualization) and PowerPoint (professional presentation design).

  • Familiarity with data analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to clients and executives in a clear, confident manner.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in legal services, consulting, or another professional services environment.

  • Basic understanding of financial or operational metrics (billing, efficiency, performance tracking).

  • Comfort with CRM or ticketing systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zendesk).
